Aspire Music Concert Friday at 6:30 and Dance Recitals Sat & Sun at 3:00Submitted by Robin on Wed, 06/16/2010 - 20:42.Well, this is it--the big weekend that we've spent months preparing for! Today and tomorrow we have Dress Rehearsals at Sequim High School Performing Arts Center. Friday the musicians show their stuff at the Spring Concert at 6:30. Saturday and Sunday the dancers take the stage at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are just $5.00 at the door. We hope to see you there! »

Friday, June 18 at 6:30 p.m. Aspire musicians will be performing at the Sequim High School Performing Arts Center. You will hear choirs, soloists, and bands perform in a 2 hour concert. On Saturday and Sunday, June 19 and 20 the dancers take the stage at 3:00. Come and enjoy these talented and hardworking students. Tickets are only $5.00 and are for sale at Aspire or at the door. »
Kim King--Aspire's New Cheerdance Teacher for FallSubmitted by Robin on Fri, 04/30/2010 - 23:13.We are delighted to announce that Cheer Coach Kim King has joined the Aspire team and will be teaching Primary Cheerdance and Cheerdance 1 beginning this fall. Kim has coached cheerleaders for many years and is currently the JV Coach at Sequim High School. Primary Cheer will be on Tuesdays at 3:30 and Cheer 1 will be held on Thursdays at 3:30. You can register beginning in mid-May! »
Acrobatic Gymnastics Team Performs 5/1 At Irrigation Festival--Check it Out!Submitted by Robin on Fri, 04/30/2010 - 23:09.Aspire's Acrobatic Gymnastic Team is performing on Saturday, May 1 at the Bell Street Stage in Sequim between 11:00-12:00 about every 15 minutes. They have an awesome routine and we hope you will stop by and cheer them on. This is a part of the annual Irrigation Festival. Aspire will also be at Kid's Day at Carrie Blake Park. Stop by and make some musical egg shakers and say hi! »

The sessions are: Monday, February 22 at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, February 28 at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday March 3 at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, March 13 at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. The one hour sessions are packed with information about the method--specifically how it differs from traditional piano lessons, what you can expect to learn, a demonstration of the the pieces and how they are taught and a question & answer period. Aspire Academy Performing Arts Group---NON PROFIT is HERE!Submitted by Robin on Sun, 12/13/2009 - 04:02.We are pleased to announce that we now have a non-profit dance & music performing company called Aspire Academy Performing Arts Group (AAPAG) . This non-profit will accept tax deductible donations that will provide scholarships to students who attend Aspire Academy of Expressive Arts. AAPAG will also house the music, dance and acrobatic gymnastics performance teams. These teams will have the opportunity to perform locally and regionally and attend conferences and competitions. We have students every month asking for scholarships and currently have given over $3,000 in scholarships this year. Adult Ballet from 10-11 a.m. on Fridays! Starts November 5Submitted by Robin on Mon, 11/02/2009 - 02:37.Due to many requests we now have a beginning adult ballet class that meets during school hours. This class will focus on technique, body placement, strength and flexibility working at the barre and center. Students will also learn ballet terminology. Jazz Foundations Class Added! This class is appropriate for students seeking a foundation in Jazz technique.
