Children's Introduction to Orff with Focus on Singing

The 4-6 Choir has been replaced with Introduction to Orff.  This class introduces students to Orff tone bar instruments, many types of percussion, musical concepts and vocabulary.  This class will develop a strong foundation for future musical pursuits and is essential before the specific skill of note reading is taught.  There is a strong focus on Singing in this class.

Students will sing, dance and play instruments throughout this 45 minute class.  Solo singing is encouraged to develop listening, pitch-matching and language skills.
